Lawmakers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) on Friday staged a walkout from National Assembly to protest the comments made by Mian Javed Latif, an MNA of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N). The House was resumed after half an hour following the completion of the quorum. He went on to say that deputy speaker who was chairing the assembly session, restrained the PTI lawmakers from speaking. Alvi demanded to suspend Latif's membership of the National Assembly. Another PTI MNA Ali Muhammad Khan said whatever happened outside the National Assembly on Thursday was a sequel of what happened inside the House. Addressing Latif, he said, "No PTI parliamentarian can even think of calling Nawaz a traitor."
