Foreign and local participants at a seminar have shown confidence in improving security situation in Pakistan saying that the country's current security situation seems to be a big market for them. Speaking on the concluding session of a three-day event titled Safe Secure- Pakistan-2017, overseas and local exhibitors expressed their satisfaction over positive response.
The positive presence of foreign exhibitors at the exhibition view Pakistan as a potential market for this sector as the local market has become quality conscious and are investing in latest safety, security and surveillance technology, they are glad over positive response during the exhibition. Victor Gil Lopez, Area Manager, Bombas IDEAL, firefighting supports company from Spain, sees lots of potential in the local market for the technology equipment his company is offering, "We are here in the exhibition for the first time, we offer a complete family of horizontal and vertical water pumps for firefighting packages. I see our product as an essential item in the upcoming scenario of security awareness in Pakistan", he added.
Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Maryam Oranzaib, had formally inaugurated the three days exhibition. In concurrence with the exhibition, international Safe Secure conference being held at Pak-China Friend Center, featuring the theme focusing on "Internet of things, (IoT), security issues tackled with advanced system."
The 7th edition of the conference had an exclusive session on: "Securing the critical infrastructure by bridging them with Internet of things (IoT)", along with other session on," Mechanism of Internet of things, (IoT) and its contribution in smart cities and industrialisation."
Eminent speakers had presented their papers from local and international renowned organisations like, Pakistan Information Security Association (PISA), Ecfirst-USA, Pakistan Security Services & Systems Association (PSSSA), Piffers Security Services, Pak Gulf construction company, Mosh International, Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, Hunan HuaShun JinAn Security Service Co Ltd-China, Bosch Security Systems-UAE, German Fire Protection Association-Germany, World Safety Organisation (WSO)-Pakistan.-PR
