The 44 common training officers of Civil Services Academy Lahore on Sunday night visited the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI). On that occasion the Senior Vice President of HCCI Turab Ali Khawaja said that HCCI is playing the role of bridge between traders' community and government. Hyderabad is the second largest city and commercial hub of Sindh having cultural as well as historic importance.
He said that Hyderabad has progressed in the light energy section and 40 percent 2 wheeler and 3 wheeler vehicles of the country are assembled in Hyderabad, apart from that finest cloth is being produced in power loom sector.
"The raids conducted by factory and FBR officers are demoralising the traders, FBR should control its officers. More than 5 lakh people don't file annual tax returns due to confusing rules of FBR, he further said.
The former vice president of HCCI Ziauddin said that developing countries are investing in SME though institute for SME but there is lack of policies that's why this sector is facing hurdles in its progress.
On that occasion Additional Director Civil Services Academy Mohammad Ali Afzal, Abdul Qayoom Nusrat and others were also present.
