Spot basis bids for corn and soyabeans were slightly mixed at US Midwest river terminals on Friday, grain merchants said. While corn and soyabean basis bids firmed along the Mississippi River, bids for both crops declined along the Illinois River. A key processor at Decatur, Illinois increased its basis bids by 1 cent per bushel for corn after a 2-cent increase on Thursday.
