SARGODHA: Director Health Services Dr Rana Muhammad Abdullah on Saturday said that 501 surveillance teams were performing duties across the district to eliminate dengue larva.
He said as per report of the Executive Officer District Health Authority total 22 points had been detected where presence of dengue larva was declared.
The department concerned had taken notice of the situation and also spry the points.
Only one patient with dengue virus was detected so far who came to Saudi Arabia while his identity card was belonging to Sargodha, he added.
The health department had also set up special counters at all hospitals and special surveillance also continued, he said.
