KARACHI: The newly appointed Chief Secretary Sindh Azam Suliman here Friday called on Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair at Governor House.

The overall law and order situation of province, on-going electoral process and other issues of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting, said a statement issued by the Governor House.

The Governor Sindh said that big responsibility lies on the caretaker government and civil servants for holding peaceful and transparent election.

Muhammad Zubair said that activities related the general elections in the country will be enhanced further after Eid-ul-Fitr, the administration and law enforcement agencies should be more alert to maintain law and order situation.

The Chief Secretary Azam Suliman said that foolproof security arrangements is top priority to ensure free and fair elections.
