Scrutiny of nomination papers started in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Returning Officers (RO) Tuesday started scrutiny of nomination papers filed by the candidates on three National and six Provincial Assembly seats of Hyderabad district.

On the first day of scrutiny process, the RO accepted the nomination papers of 46 candidates and rejected eight forms of the candidates.

On NA-225, the RO conducted scrutiny of the nomination papers of three candidates and accepted the nominations of Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamote and Syed Tariq Hussain Shah Jamote while the third candidate Gulzar Jummani has been asked to reappear tomorrow.

On NA-226, the Returning Officers accepted the nomination forms of Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Sabir Hussain Kaimkhani and Ali Ahmed Sehto and asked Ghayour Ahmed to reappear tomorrow.

On NA-227, the Returning Officer rejected the nomination form of Arshad Naeem and accepted the papers of Dr. Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Rashid Khilji, Dr. Irfan Gul Magsi and Faisal Nadeem.

On PS-62, the RO accepted the nomination forms of Ayaz Latif Palijo, Saddam Hussain, Majeed Sial, Muhammad Ali Wighio, Habibur Rehman and Rabiur Rehman and asked Shahid Solangi to reappear tomorrow.

On PS-63, the RO accepted the nomination papers of Ali Kazi, Zeenat Inam Memon, Zeshan Memon and Rizwan and rejected the form of Babar Chandio on basis of having American nationality.

On PS-64, the RO rejected the nomination forms of Rabiur Rehman, Habibur Rehman, Hassan Rashid and Salman on technical grounds and accepted the papers of Irfan Khan, Abdul Aleem Khanzada, Muhammad Waqas, Mehfooz Ahmed, Abdul Qadeer Shaikh, Syed Shahbaz Abidi and Syed Razaul Hassan.

On PS-65, the RO accepted the nomination papers of Raheel Kaimkhani, Azhar Sial, Imran Ahmed, Ali Raza Shah, Israr Khanzada, Muhammad Ashraf Munna and Younus Khan while candidate Arif Khanzada did not appear at his time of scrutiny.

On PS-66, the RO accepted the nominations of Rashid Khilji, Zaheeruddin Shaikh, Ahmed Rasheed, Muhammad Zaman and Fatima Zuhra while the papers of Ameer Khan have been rejected on technical grounds.

On Ps-67, the RO accepted the nominations of Ali Junejo, Qadeer naghar, Nasir Hussain, Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Asif and rejected the forms of Adnan Rasheed and Muhammad Haroon on basis of technical grounds.
