ECP receives 19,500 candidates’ particulars so far   

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has received 19,500 particulars of 2018 General election’s prospective candidates so far.

According to ECP, these candidates’ specifics have been shared with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) through online scrutiny system. Out of total particulars received and shared, the scrutiny of 10,000 particulars has been completed and received by the ECP.

It said the commission has forwarded these particulars to the Returning Officers (RO) while remaining are in process.
