Bilawal Bhutto files nominations from NA-8, Malakand

PESHAWAR: PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari files nomination papers for National Assembly constituency NA-8, District Malakand.

Provincial president, PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mohammad Hamayun Khan and former Senator Farhatullah Babar filed his nominations on behalf of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari with District Returning Officer at Batkhela on Monday.

The young PPP chairman is likely to Junaid Akbar Khan of PTI, Inamullah Khan of ANP while the religio-political alliance MMA and PML-N has yet to announce their candidates.

Till the last elections of 2013, the area was a stronghold of PPP as since 1988, the party has won four elections from the constituency while it had faced defeat in 1997, 2002 and 2013.
