BUCHAREST: Romania sold a lower than planned 168.6 million lei ($42.87 million) of six-month treasury bills on Thursday, with the average accepted yield at 2.93 percent, the central bank said.
Debt managers last issued six-month paper in September 2017 at an average yield of 0.65 percent.
So far this year, they have sold about 16 billion lei and 252 million euros of domestic debt, tapping 2.0 billion euros from foreign markets in 2028 and 2030 Eurobonds.
