40 file papers for women, minorities reserved seats: ECP

PESHAWAR: As many as 40 candidates of different political parties have submitted nomination papers for the seats reserved for women and minorities in the National Assembly and KP Assembly.

The ECP KP spokesman told as of now 16 women candidates have submitted nomination papers for seats reserved for women in National Assembly, 40 for women seats in KP Assembly.

Similarly, 16 candidates have filed papers for seats reserved for minorities in the provincial assembly of KP.

Jaytendar Singh of ANP Friday filed papers for minority seat in KP Assembly and Naeema Kishwar of MMA for women reserved seat in National Assembly.
