BUCHAREST: Romania sold a less than planned 324.3 million lei ($83.33 million) worth of March 2022 treasury bonds on Thursday, with the average accepted yield at 4.04 percent, central bank data showed.

Debt managers, who had planned to sell 500 million lei, last issued the paper in April at an average yield of 3.76 percent.

So far this year, the finance ministry has sold roughly 13.44 billion lei and 252 million euros of domestic debt, and has tapped 2.0 billion euros from foreign markets in 2028 and 2030 Eurobonds.
