DG Auditor calls on Governor Balochistan Mehmood Khan Achakzai

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said it is essential to maintain financial discipline and transparency in government departments in this regard, the role of Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) was important in construction of country in order to ensure auditing for development funds in departments.

He said this while talking to Director General Auditor Balochistan Mehmood Amir who called on Governor at Governor House here on Wednesday.

DG Balochistan Mehmood informed the Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai about the role of his department and presented performance reports of annual 2016- 17 during meeting.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai appreciated the efforts of AGP on recovery of billion of rupees on federal and provincial level which is pleasures process, saying that corruption could be removed from different departments and other sectors of country through inspection.

He said measures are needed to overcome irregularities in government departments for ensuring transparency to avoid the wastage of developments funds.

DG Audit assured the Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai that his deportment could play due role for betterment of the country.
