LONDON: The cost of insuring exposure to Turkish sovereign debt hit a fresh one-month high on Monday as concerns about the economy persisted given the widening current account deficit and the prospects for US interest rate rises.
Turkish five-year credit default swaps rose 1 basis point from Friday's close to 178 basis points, according to data from IHS Markit, the highest since February 14.
