Taiwan flour mills tender for 92,465 tonnes US wheat

HAMBURG: The Taiwan Flour Millers' Association has issued an international tender to purchase 92,465 tonnes of grade 1 milling wheat to be sourced from the United States, European traders said on Tuesday.

Tender deadline is March 13, they said.

The wheat is sought in two consignments for shipment from the US Pacific North West coast.

The first consignment totalling 45,170 tonnes is sought for shipment between April 28 and May 12, and the second of 47,295 tonnes is sought for shipment on May 15-29, they said.

The tender seeks a range of different wheat types.

The association is a regular buyer of US wheat.

In its last reported tender on Feb. 6, the association purchased 77,200 tonnes of milling wheat also to be sourced from the United States.
