ISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Senator Mushahidullah Khan has said the people would held accountability of all the political parties in general elections and would give votes to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on the basis of performance.

Talking to PTV, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had failed to deliver in the provinces where they were in power.

He said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government resolved major challenges in four and half year being faced by the country in 2013 including terrorism, power load-shedding and economic situation.

The minister said PTI and PPP were involved in horse trading in the recently held Senate elections and the both parties awarded tickets to the candidates who had no political background.

He said Members of Provincial Assembly of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa expressed their no confidence against the leadership by giving votes to other parties in Senate election.

Mushahidullah said the PML-N had achieved its target in the Senate elections and had become largest political party there.

He said Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed had never given importance to the Parliament as they used derogatory remarks against it and did not cast vote in Senate election.
