RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 23,712.21 points with a negative change of -235.04 and volume of 88,424,400 shares. High and Low were 24,122.06 and 23,673.74 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 10 were up, 19 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 167,620,450 shares. Total companies traded were 348 of which 139 were positive, 197 were negative and 12 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,074,800 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 19,148,000 shares.
