ATC grants exemption to Imran Khan in 2014 sit-in cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been granted exemption from appearing at an anti-terrorism court (ATC) regarding his 2014 sit-in cases.
Judge Shahrukh Arjumand granted exemption to Khan from appearing at the next hearing and adjourned the hearing to March 13, local media reported. Khan has been accused in cases pertaining to attacks on senior superintendent of police Ullah Junejo, PTV office and Parliament during sit-ins back in 2014 and forcibly releasing the suspects.

Speaking to the media outside the court, the PTI chairman called Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif 'chota don' and demanded that he should also be summoned by the court because his name has been revealed by Chinese company officer for corruption in Multan metro bus project.
The PTI chief further accused Shehbaz of spending Rs9 trillion and demanded that all of his projects should be made public.
