SARGODHA: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Liaquat Ali Chatha here on Friday said the provincial government has taken a lot of initiatives for improving the agriculture sector.
He stated this during a agriculture advisory committee meeting.
He said the government was providing subsidy to farmers for increasing per acre production.
The experts of agriculture department would also organise seminars at union council level for creating awareness among farmers regarding government packages, he said.
He maintained that the government rates of sugarcane would also be ensured.
