ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the establishment of honorary consulate office of Russian Federation in Peshawar will further strengthen diplomatic and business relations between the two countries.
Addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of Russian Federation in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said the Russian Federation and Pakistan have entered into a new phase of their diplomatic relationships.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will be of great help in further strengthening the bonds of economic relationships in this part of the world.
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the Honorary Consulate of Russian Federation will in the promotion of educational and business opportunities for the people of both the countries. Consul General of Russian Federation in Peshawar, Mr. Muhammad Arsalan Khan was also present on this occasion.
