SAO PAULO: Brazil exported 2.327 million 60-kg bags of green coffee in January, down 5.1 percent from a year earlier, exporters association Cecaf? said on Friday, adding this had been expected.
"We believe exports will continue at a slow pace until the new harvest starts coming in," said Cecaf? president Nelson Carvalhaes. Thanks to abundant rains, Brazil is looking at a good crop this season, he said.
