Sunday bazaars: 'provision of standard items to be ensured'

District Co-ordination Officer Lahore Ahad Khan Cheema here on Saturday has said that provision of cheap and standard essential items would be made at every cost in Sunday bazaars so that citizens of Lahore could get real benefit of this public facility.
He said the City District Government would not allow profiteering and price-hike in Sunday bazaars. He said that main purpose of Sunday bazaars to facilitate the citizens by providing them cheap and standard essential items. DCO Lahore said that checking teams had been constituted to provide quality essential items on cheaper rates and city district government was taking all necessary steps for ensuring this. He directed the concerned officers to pay full attention on cleanliness in Sunday bazaars and to take all measures for provision of facilities for the people.
