Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred four more Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, Indian Occupied Kashmir. The troops during violent military operation killed the youth in Keran area of the district. Indian army claimed that the martyred youth were militants (Mujahideen).
On the other hand, protests erupted at Loktipora in Islamabad over the custodial death of a civilian, Syed Muhammad Yousuf. Hundreds of people attended the funeral procession at Loktipora-Bijbehara graveyard and raised slogans against the puppet regime, KMS reported.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased have rejected the judicial inquiry ordered by the puppet administration into the death of Syed Yousuf terming it as mere eyewash. "Everybody knows what has been the fate of so many judicial enquiries ordered in the past," said Syed Muhammad Hussain, brother-in-law of the deceased. The family members also contested the authorities' claim that Shah died of cardiac arrest.
