Prime Minister's flood relief fund: Dr Asim presents Rs 112.5 million cheque

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain on Saturday presented Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani a cheque of Rs 112,500,000 (11 crore 25 lac rupees) for Prime Minister's Relief Fund 2011. In a meeting at the PM House, Dr Asim told the Prime Minister that amount was contributed by OGDCL, PPL, PMDC, GHPL, MGCL and SSGCL.
The minister said besides this donation, relief goods worth Rs 36.85 million for the rain affected persons of Sindh had also been provided by the Ministry. The Prime Minister thanked the Minister and all those who contributed generously for the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
