Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Saturday said progress has been made in the abduction case of Shahbaz Taseer, the son of slain Governor Salman Taseer. Shahbaz was abducted in Gulberg area while he was on his way to office on August 26, 2011.
Talking to journalists at the Punjab Judicial Academy after giving award to newly trained 34 prosecutors here on Saturday the minister said that a joint investigation team was working to investigate and find out whereabouts of Shahbaz. He however said, it was not appropriate to disclose the details right now. To another question on two-time death sentence to Mumtaz Qadri on the charges of killing Salman Taseer, he said it was judicial decision which needed to be respected.
