Pakistan and China are linked by common mountains and rivers. The friendship between our peoples has a time-honoured history, and our two countries regard each other as a good neighbour, good friend, good partner and good brother and have developed an exemplary state-to-state relationship.
Since the establishment of diplomatic ties on May 21, 1951, the relation of the bilateral trade and economic co-operation has been persistently expanded and deepened, and has achieved favourable social efficiency and economic efficiency. We believe, under the loving care of the leaders of the two countries and the joint efforts of business communities of the two sides, with the signing of the 5-year Development Program on Economic Co-operation and bilateral Free Trade Agreement, the trade and economic co-operation of both countries will surely achieve positive progress towards larger range, broader field and higher level.
It is our great honour and incumbent duty to work as a bridge for the understanding, exchange and co-operation between companies from both countries. I sincerely hope and wish all the success and ever-lasting prosperity to the peoples of the both nations.
