The Swiss franc traded lower against the dollar on Wednesday but remained in a tight range against both currencies as renewed caution over the eurozone debt crisis lent some support to the greenback. The franc fell 0.3 percent against the euro compared to the New York close, exchanging hands at 1.2211 francs to the euro at 0631 GMT. The franc fell 0.3 percent against the dollar to 0.8898 francs per dollar.
