Dr Kamran attends moot in South Africa

Dr Muhammad Kamran of Punjab University Urdu Department participated in the golden jubilee international conference of English Academy South Africa held in Peninsula University Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Kamran presented his paper on 'English Translations of Urdu Poetry and Difficulties of Literary Translations'. Dr Kamran was the first Pakistani to preside over a session of the conference.
The participants of the conference stressed the need to promote peace through language and literature. He also met with the president and members of English Academy. Dr Kamran conveyed the message of Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran on organising golden jubilee conference of the academy and offered all-out help to promote language and literature.-PR
