PIA plane makes emergency landing in Multan

An Islamabad-to-Karachi bound PIA flight, PK-369, made an emergency landing in Multan after developing a technical fault on Tuesday. Several parliamentarians were onboard the plane. One of the engines of the plane stopped functioning after taking off from Islamabad airport and the plane had to make an emergency landing in Multan.
Nawab Wasan, Wasim Akhtar, Sher Muhammad Baloch, Fauzia Wahab, Khwaja Sohail, Dr Nadeem Ahsan, Nauman Sheikh and Mahesh Malwani were among the passengers. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani's son reached airport to see the parliamentarians and congratulated them on their safe landing.
