Obama campaign office attacked before LA visit

A campaign office for President Barack Obama's re-election was attacked by vandals, police said Friday, days before the US leader heads to the West Coast for a visit. An unidentified person or persons shattered windows and a glass door Thursday evening at Obama's re-election campaign office in Westchester, west of Los Angeles, said an LA Police Department (LAPD) spokesman.
"There were four campaign workers in a back part of the offices and they heard the noise of glass. When they went to the front, they saw the glass with pellet gunshots in it," said spokesman Richard Parks. Obama is due to visit Los Angeles on Monday to raise funds for his re-election in November 2012 presidential polls.
