The European Union (EU) will provide donation amounting to Euro 86 million to Pakistan facilitating rain and flood relief efforts, said EU envoy Lors Ginar Viggy Marks while talking to media persons after meeting with the Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan here at his camp office on Wednesday.
The EU ambassador also appreciated the measures taken by the government to mitigate the suffering of the people affected by rains and floods and also praised the efforts of the government in its war against terrorism. Talking to newsmen, the Home Minister Manzoor Wasan said that investigators were probing all aspects of the attack on the life of SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam at his residence on Monday. He said that 54 target killers and 19 extortionists were nabbed by the police.
