Abdul Rauf Patel has been elected chairman Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA) Southern Zone for 2011-2012. In the Zonal Committee meeting of Southern Zone, PHMA, the committee has unanimously elected Abdul Rauf Patel Chairman, Bashir Ghaffar, Senior Vice-Chairman and Salman Ishaq Vice Chairman, PHMA Southern Zone for the period 2011-2012.
Amir Motan, Salman Ishaq, Abdul Jabbar Gajiani, Naeem Zakaria Moosani, Khalid Mukashi and Arshad Mehbbob have already elected unopposed as members zonal committee. Addressing the meeting, Rauf Patel promised to serve the association and the knitwear and hosiery industry sincerely in resolving the issues and problems. He said that while the previous team, headed by Saleem Parekh central chairman and Junad Makda chairman, have done commendable work and with the best efforts of our leader and entire team, PHMA had become the leading and most prominent Association.
Chief Co-ordinator, Jawed Bilwani also congratulated the new team and expressed his special thanks to the members of the Press and electronic media who constantly highlighted the issues and problems faced by the value-added textile sector most effectively.
