Ministry of Housing and Works has imposed ban on fresh allotments of government owned residential accommodation. It has been stated in a notification issued here on Monday by Ministry of Housing and Works that the objective of ban on fresh allotment is to clear backlog of pending cases and to review the old cases of allotment of government owned residential accommodation.
