The Punjab government has on Monday reshuffled government officials including Senior Member Board of Revenue and Punjab Additional Chief Secretary. According to a notification, Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Punjab, has been relieved of his duties in Government of the Punjab with effect from July 9 to join office as Federal Secretary, Scientific and Technological Research Division.
Muhammad Sami Saeed, Punjab Additional Chief Secretary has been transferred and posted as Senior Member Board of Revenue, Punjab Lahore, vice Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar. He shall assume the new charge when Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar relinquishes the charge of the post on July 9.
Nadeem Hassan Asif, Commissioner, Lahore Division, Lahore has been transferred and posted as Punjab Additional Chief Secretary, vice Muhammad Sami Saeed. He would also assume the new charge on July 9 when Muhammad Sami Saeed relinquishes the charge of the post.
Javed Mahmood, Officer on Special Duty and former Punjab Chief Secretary, has been relieved of his duties in Government of the Punjab, with effect from July 9, to join his new assignment as Federal Secretary Planning and Development Division, upon his promotion to BS-22, to the rank of Federal Secretary. Notification regarding posting of Muhammad Hakim Ali Daultana, Officer on Special Duty, as Controller, Printing and Stationery, Punjab, Lahore, vice Dr Ismat Tahira has been cancelled.
Captain Asad Ullah Khan (Retd), Officer on Special Duty and presently attending Senior Management Course, has been posted as Additional Secretary in Punjab Agriculture Department against a vacant post. Dr Waqar Hussain Chaudhary, Executive District Officer (Community Development), Kasur, has been transferred, with immediate effect and posted as Controller, Printing and Stationery, Punjab Lahore, vice Dr Ismat Tahira, transferred.
