Six killed in different incidents

Six persons were killed in different incidents in various parts of the district during last 24 hours. According to police, a speeding truck hit sleeping workers at a footpath near Dhuddiwala on Jaranwala Road.
As a result three workers including Mehmood died on spot while another worker Zulfiqar succumbed to his burn injuries. He received burn injuries after leaking of steam from the boiler of a local chemical industry situated on Sargodha Road.
In another incident, a speeding wagon crushed to death a motorcyclist Rashid at Jhang Road while one Shahid shot his cousin Tanveer dead in Chak No.656-GB.
