The Site Association of Industry (SAI) will organise Eid Bachat Bazaar from August 5 to August 16, where 10 to 25 percent discount will be available to customers. Around 100 stalls to be set up at the Bachat Bazaar. The industrial workers and their families can buy items of daily use and other products at factory price or even less. Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan will inaugurate the Bazaar on August 5, 2011.
The organiser of Bachat Bazaar said that stalls to be set up to offer different products including food, garments, crockery, bangles, cosmetics, shoes, artificial jewellery, cloths, blankets, knitwear, hosiery, facial uplifting products, perfumes, scents, shampoo, hair oils, electronic appliances, plastic furniture, footwear, rice, pulses, soft drinks, confectionery, chocolates, edible oils, dry fruits, canned foods, tea, beverages, honey sauces, home textile, bed wears, towels etc. Mobiles companies will also set up their stalls.
The association is holding this annual event for the last 17 years. Chairman of the association, Wahab Lakhani said that prices of goods have gone up substantially in the last few years, therefore, the Bachat Bazaar is being organised to facilitate industrial workers to get products on discount rate during the holy month of Ramadan.
