Crackdown on spurious agriculture-drug makers conducted

Convenor Sub-committee Control of Spurious Agricultural Drugs, Asif Manzur Mohal while talking to media, here on Sunday, said that on the instructions of CM Punjab, a crackdown has taken place in Vehari, Mian Chanu, Kasur and Multan against spurious drug. The agricultural department has filed cases under Special Act against the offenders.
Mohal said that prizes would be given to those who were involved in successful operation against spurious drugs. He said anybody, no matter how influential, will be would be apprehended if he dealt in business of spurious agricultural drugs.
