Three consecutive drone strikes kill 23 people in South Waziristan. The violent killing of innocent people has yet again perturbed and saddened each and every Pakistani, as well as those living abroad. Despite a joint resolution of the Parliament, national consensus and Pakistan Air Force's stance, our government seems least concerned to shoot the drones down. Never did the history witness such an injustice that the ally in the so-called war on terror - Pakistan - is being invaded and bombarded ruthlessly.
There has been a perception that militants are also killed in these attacks, but it is clearly evident that many of those dieing are innocent people, our Muslim brothers, sisters, women and children. It is clearly imperative that orders be issued to shoot these aircraft at 'first sight'.
