Pakistan Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (Paapam) has welcomed the revival of yellow cab scheme by the Punjab Government, Paapam vice Chairman Syed Nabeel Hashmi said here on Tuesday.
Syed Nabeel Hashmi, Vice Chairman addressing a special meeting of Managing Committee convened for hearing the provincial budget appreciated Punjab Government's effort for giving Development - Focused budget particularly, launching of Punjab Rozgar Scheme, focusing on power generation, establishing Industrial city alongside Motorway, which will boost economic activities in the province.
Hashmi further said that these measures will create vast job opportunities and attract local as well as foreign investment which is need of the day. He said the Association noted its happiness that the scheme has been restricted to locally manufactured vehicles which shall automatically contribute to the creation of newer jobs and development in the auto-parts vending industry all over Pakistan.
Commenting on the Rozgar scheme Hashmi noted that educated youths must also be motivated towards setting up of cottage and small units for manufacturing of Engineering goods. For these the interest free financing must be done for CNC machines and equipment which would automatically raise the Technological competence of the youth and of the province.
