A meeting was held at a local hotel between the members of Pakistan Hotels Association containing prominent hoteliers and Executive Committee Members of PHA with Ministry of Tourism Sindh to discuss various issues pertaining to Hotel Industry and to redress thereof.
Jehan Zeb, Chairman, PHA In his opening remarks commended the efforts of the Minister and his team willing to discuss the issues of hotel industry in Pakistan and his willingness to redress these issues to promote hotel industry / tourism.
Few issues currently hospitality industry is facing, ie bed tax, Declaration of Tourism as an Industry, Import of Hotel Equipments and permission for gas connection for power generation etc were discussed in detail and Soomro very kindly assured members of PHA to resolve these issues on priority basis and to discuss / have meetings with the concerned authorities in this regards.-PR
