RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 22,297.38 points with a positive change of 171.44 and volume of 73,050,800 shares. High and Low were 22,325.06 and 22,125.94 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 25 were up, 4 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 102,696,420 shares. Total companies traded were 363 of which 223 were positive, 117 were negative and 23 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,653,100 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 16,145,450 shares.
