Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has appointed Javed Malik as ambassador at large. A notification dated July 25 to this effect has been issued by the Establishment Division.
Javed Malik, a renowned media-person, has served as Executive Director of the World Forum and lived in Middle East and Europe, with strong relations among the expatriate Pakistani community. He frequently appears on international media to speak on the issues relating to Pakistan.
Javed Malik will be working on activating the overseas Pakistani community world wide and communicate with the business community to attract foreign investment into Pakistan.
