Latif Khosa may become new AGP

Pakistan Peoples Party central leader and Senator, Latif Khan Khosa is expected to become Attorney General in place of Justice Malik Qayyum(Retd). According to the sources, the PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have decided to appoint Latif Khosa as new Attorney General and they had informed him about the decision.
Sources said that Latif Khan Khosa would be allowed to appear in the court about government matters as an Attorney General. It was learnt that Justice Malik Qayyum (Retd) was also informed about the decision while he was on a private foreign tour. Malik Qayyum will resign a day before taking charge of Latif Khan Khosa as Attorney General and a notification will also be issued in this regard.
