RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 52793.32 with a negative change of 83.14 and volume of 73,461,930 shares.

High and Low were 53127.24 and 52733.89 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 210,550,060 shares with 343 total traded companies out of which 121 were up, 202 were down and 20 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 54,112,300 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 17,522,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement(R) with a volume of 32,978,000 and price per share of 2.35 (0.05), Azgard Nine with a volume 9,578,000 of price per share of 13.81 (0.48), Engro Polymer with a volume 7,182,500 of price per share of 31.12 (0.59).

The top three advancers were Mari Petroleum with price per share 1691.00 (31.17), Thal Ind.Corp. with price per share of 505.00 (24.00) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 2099.00 (16.21).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2600.00 (66.00), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 1060.00 (36.46) and Agriautos Ind. per share of 424.20 (16.84).
