BUCHAREST: Romania sold a more than planned 445.2 million lei ($107.13 million) worth of April 2024 treasury bonds on Thursday, with the average accepted yield at 3.46 percent, central bank data showed.
Debt managers, who had planned to sell 400 million lei of the paper, last issued the bond in April at an average yield of 3.41 percent.
So far this year, Romania has sold roughly 14.77 billion lei and 240 million euros of domestic bills and bonds. It has tapped foreign markets for 1.75 billion euros of 2027 and 2035 Eurobonds.
