Today Bank Alfalah celebrates a decade of its productive presence on the financial landscape of Pakistan. The Bank was the vision of the founder Chairman, Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak A1-Nahayan, when 10 years ago despite a dismal banking future the world community had towards Pakistan; he sought and acquired the three-branch bank.
Today, Bank Alfalah has moved from three locations to 215 branches and sales centre across the county as well as abroad. It is now a financial force to be reckoned with, said a press release on Thursday.
During the course often years, the Bank has been innovative in the real sense of the word. By pushing beyond established banking boundaries, Bank Aflalah has redefined service in the ever changing business requirements of the market and its customers.
Be it products benefiting family life or business transactions relating to individuals or operations, the Bank has always ensured conveniences and cost benefits to its customers. This it has managed through advance technology, rapidly growing domestic branches and global presence.
Traditional banking has not been overlooked. The Bank opened its Islamic Banking wing to cater to a specific mode of banking & finance. This opened new avenues of convenience for its existing and prospective customers.
Corporate social responsibilities at the Bank Alfalah is an integral part of the institutions character and one of its most important corporate values. The Bank plays an active role in providing health care facilities to the underprivileged and needy part of our society. It also promotes education and finances institutions that work for the growth of children unable to get desired education because of the paucity of funds.
