NOWSHERA: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Moulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Wednesday said that seminaries were the bastion of Islam and imparting religious and contemporary education to 2.9 million students in country.
He was addressing as a chief guest at Seminaries Ulema Convention in connection with JUI-F Centenary Celebrations here.
He said that seminaries were busy in inculcating norms of religion among people but some elements were busy in hatching conspiracies against these institutions.
He said that seminaries were working to promote real Islamic identity and ensuring norms of religion in the society.
Fazal said that nefarious designs of enemies could be foiled by forging unity in our ranks adding that it was a need of hour that Muslims should shun their differences and present a true picture of Islam for the proper guidance of the people.
He said that JUI-F was a force while mosque was a place of spiritual guidance adding it was one of our duties that each and every Muslim should work keeping in view the teaching of Islam.
He said the Ulema to play their role for promoting real picture of Islamic among masses.
