ECP to adopt strategy to bring number of women on electoral rolls before elections

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to adopt a multi-pronged strategy to bring maximum number of women on the electoral rolls before the next general elections.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the Commission held here on Wednesday with Secretary Election Commission Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad in the chair.

The meeting said the strategy will revolve around the state institutions with active participation from the civil society and political parties.
