CHICAGO: Spot basis offers for soymeal were steady to mixed at truck market processors around the US Midwest on Monday.
Dealers said demand was spotty, with most end users waiting to see what direction the market took this week before committing to new orders.
Offers were unchanged in the rail market.
In the truck market, offers rose by $5 per ton in Lafayette, Indiana, but fell by $1 per ton in Decatur, Indiana. Soymeal was offered at option the Chicago Board of Trade March contract in both locations.
