US Cash Grains-Corn bids steady/mixed, beans mostly unchanged

CHICAGO: Spot basis bids for corn at processors and elevators in the US Midwest were flat to narrowly mixed and generally steady for soybeans on Friday, grain merchants said.

Corn bids reflected uneven Chicago Board of Trade futures amid consolidation below this week's six-week high for the March contract.

Uncertainty about US trade prospects with Mexico, given the tense political climate between both countries, pressured CBOT corn contracts.
